The bloggers recipe challenge is quickly coming to a close and what better way then to end with a sweet treat. This is my Game Day/Party submission to their contest for a chance to win cash prizes. To maximize your amount of chips from the pita, cut the pita into thirds, then the outer thirds get cut into three pieces. The middle section gets cut in half then again at an angle. You now will get 10 chips from each large pita.
Brush the pita chips with the melted cumin butter then bake at 375 degrees for 12-15 minutes. Once crispy, remove from the oven and on to the fun part.
Sprinkle the warm pita chips with the sweet and spicy cinnamon chili sugar. Serve with the Peach Mango Salsa Cream Cheese Dip and win the game!!!!!

Sweet & Spicy Pita Chips with Peach Mango Salsa Cream Cheese Dip
Makes 60 pita chips and approximately 2 cups of dip
8 oz. tub whipped cream cheese
1/2 cup Desert Pepper Trading Co Peach Mango Salsa
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1- 6 ct. package Greek Style Pitas (17 oz)
1/2 cup butter
2 teaspoons cumin powder
1/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 teaspoon chili powder
Blend together the whipped cream cheese, Desert Pepper Trading Co Peach Mango Salsa and brown sugar until smooth. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Cut the whole pitas into chip size pieces. (See the photo that shows how to maximize getting multiple chips from larger pitas)
Heat an oven to 375 degrees.
Melt the butter and add in the cumin powder. Arrange on a baking sheet and brush with the cumin butter mixture. Bake for 12-15 minutes to achieve a crispy pita chip.
While the chips are baking, mix together the sugar, cinnamon and chili powder. Set aside.
When the pita chips are done, remove from the oven and sprinkle with the spicy sugar mixture.
Serve with the sweet peach mango salsa cream cheese dip.
